4. Data protection
Data protection is particularly important for Arthrose Selbsthilfe. The Arthrose Selbsthilfe website can generally be used without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services from our company via our website, processing of personal data may be necessary. If the processing of personal data is necessary and there is no legal basis for such processing, we generally obtain consent from the data subject.
The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number of a data subject shall always be in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Arthrose Selbsthilfe. By means of this data protection declaration, Arthrose Selbsthilfe would like to inform the general public of the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed of the rights to which they are entitled by means of this data protection declaration.
As the controller, Arthrose Selbsthilfe has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal data processed through this website. Nevertheless, Internet-based data transmissions can in principle have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transmit personal data to us via alternative means, e.g. by telephone.

3. Cookies
The Arthrose Self-Help website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are placed and saved on a computer system via an Internet browser.
Numerous websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier for the cookie. It consists of a character string that allows websites and servers to be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was saved. This enables the websites and servers visited to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific Internet browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID.
By using cookies, Arthrose Self-Help can provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.
Cookies can be used to optimize the information and offers on our website for the benefit of the user. As already mentioned, cookies enable us to recognize the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, the user of a website that uses cookies does not have to enter their access data every time they visit the website because this is done by the website and the cookie stored on the user's computer system. Another example is the cookie of a shopping cart in an online shop. The online shop uses a cookie to remember the items that a customer has placed in the virtual shopping cart.
The person concerned can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by making the appropriate settings in the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common Internet browsers. If the person concerned deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
4. Collection of general data and information
The Arthrose Selbsthilfe website collects a series of general data and information each time the website is accessed by a data subject or an automated system. This general data and information is stored in the server's log files. The following may be recorded: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers), (4) the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information that serve to avert dangers in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
When using this general data and information, Arthrose Selbsthilfe does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is required to (1) correctly deliver the content of our website, (2) optimize the content of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated by Arthrose Selbsthilfe on the one hand statistically and on the other hand with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company in order to ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.
The controller processes and stores personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or as far as this has been provided for by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject.
If the purpose of storage no longer applies or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another competent legislator expires, the personal data are routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

If one of the aforementioned conditions is met, and a data subject wishes to request the restriction of the processing of personal data stored by Arthrose Selbsthilfe, he or she may at any time contact any employee of the controller. The employee of Arthrose Selbsthilfe will arrange the restriction of the processing.

f) Right to data portability
Every person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European legislator to receive the personal data concerning him or her, which was made available to a controller, in a structured, common and machine-readable format. He or she also has the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom the personal data was made available, provided that the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9 (2)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR and the processing is carried out by automated means, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
Furthermore, in exercising his or her right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 (1) GDPR, the data subject has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible and provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

g) Right to object
Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European legislator to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her based on Art. 6 (1) e or f GDPR, for reasons related to his or her particular situation. If Arthrose Selbsthilfe processes personal data in order to conduct direct advertising, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for the purpose of such advertising. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising. If the data subject objects to Arthrose Selbsthilfe processing for direct marketing purposes, Arthrose Selbsthilfe will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.
In addition, the data subject has the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her by Arthrose Selbsthilfe for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes pursuant to Art. 89 (1) GDPR, unless such processing is necessary to perform a task carried out in the public interest, for reasons related to his or her particular situation.
To exercise the right to object, the data subject may contact any employee of Arthrose Selbsthilfe or another employee directly. The data subject is also free to exercise his or her right of objection by automated means using technical specifications in connection with the use of information society services, notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC.
h) Automated decisions in individual cases, including profiling
Every person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European legislator not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing - including profiling - which produces legal effects concerning him or her or similarly significantly affects him or her, unless the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) is permitted by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or (3) is made with the data subject's explicit consent.

If the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) it is made with the data subject's explicit consent, Arthrose Selbsthilfe shall implement suitable measures to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, at least the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express his or her point of view and contest the decision.
If the data subject wishes to exercise rights with regard to automated decisions, he or she may contact an employee of the controller at any time.
i) Right to withdraw consent under data protection law
Any person affected by the processing of personal data has the right granted by the European legislator to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time.
If the data subject wishes to exercise his or her right to withdraw consent, he or she may contact an employee of the controller at any time.
7. Data protection provisions on the use and application of AddThis
The controller has integrated components of the company AddThis on this website. AddThis is a so-called bookmarking provider. The service enables simplified bookmarking of websites using buttons. By hovering over the AddThis component with the mouse or by clicking on it, a list of bookmarking and sharing services is displayed. AddThis is used on over 15 million websites and, according to the operating company, the buttons are displayed over 20 billion times a year.
The operating company of AddThis is AddThis, Inc. 1595 Spring Hill Road, Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182, USA.
Whenever one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which an AddThis component has been integrated, is accessed, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective AddThis component to download data from the website www.addthis.com. As part of this technical procedure, AddThis receives information about the visit and which specific individual page of this website is used by the information technology system used by the data subject. In addition, AddThis receives information about the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) of the computer system used by the data subject, the browser type, the browser language, the website accessed before our website, the date and time of the visit to our website. AddThis uses this data to create anonymized user profiles. The data and information transferred to AddThis in this way enable the company AddThis itself as well as the companies associated with AddThis or its partner companies to specifically target visitors to the websites of the controller with personalized and interest-based advertising.
AddThis displays personalized and interest-based advertising based on a cookie set by the company. This cookie analyzes the individual surfing behavior of the computer system used by the data subject. The cookie stores the visits to websites originating from the computer system.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as already shown above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent AddThis from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by AddThis can be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs.
The data subject also has the option of permanently objecting to the processing of personal data by AddThis. To do so, the data subject must press the opt-out button under the link http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out, which sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on the information technology system used by the data subject. If the cookies on the data subject's system are deleted after an objection, the data subject must call up the link again and set a new opt-out cookie.

However, by setting the opt-out cookie, it is possible that the Internet pages of the controller are no longer fully usable for the data subject.
The applicable data protection provisions of AddThis can be accessed at http://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy.
8. Data protection provisions on the use and application of Google AdSense
The controller has integrated Google AdSense on this website. Google AdSense is an online service that enables advertising to be placed on third-party websites. Google AdSense is based on an algorithm that selects the advertisements displayed on third-party websites to match the content of the respective third-party website. Google AdSense allows interest-based targeting of Internet users, which is implemented by generating individual user profiles.
The operating company of the Google AdSense component is Alphabet Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
The purpose of the Google AdSense component is the integration of advertisements on our website. Google AdSense sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Alphabet Inc. is enabled to analyze the use of our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Google AdSense component was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Google AdSense component to transmit data to Alphabet Inc. for the purpose of online advertising and the settlement of commissions. As part of this technical procedure, Alphabet Inc. receives knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which Alphabet Inc. uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently enable commission settlements. The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies through our website, as already shown above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Alphabet Inc. from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Alphabet Inc. can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
Google AdSense also uses so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in Internet pages to enable log file recording and log file analysis, which can be used to carry out statistical evaluations. Using the embedded tracking pixel, Alphabet Inc. can recognize whether and when a website was opened by a data subject and which links were clicked by the data subject. Tracking pixels are used, among other things, to evaluate the flow of visitors to a website.
Via Google AdSense, personal data and information, which also includes the IP address and is necessary for the recording and billing of the advertisements displayed, is transferred to Alphabet Inc. in the United States of America. This personal data is stored and processed in the United States of America. Alphabet Inc. may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.
Google AdSense is explained in more detail at this link https://www.google.de/intl/de/adsense/start/.
9. Data protection provisions on the application and use of Google Analytics (with anonymization function)
The controller has integrated the Google Analytics component (with anonymization function) on this website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Web analysis is the collection, gathering and evaluation of data on the behavior of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects, among other things, data on which website a data subject came to a website from (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analysis is primarily used to optimize a website and to perform cost-benefit analyses of Internet advertising.
The operator of the Google Analytics component is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The controller uses the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. This addition shortens and anonymizes the IP address of the data subject's internet connection if our website is accessed from a member state of the European Union or from another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyze visitor flows on our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us that show the activities on our websites, and to provide other services related to the use of our website.
Google Analytics sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google is enabled to analyze the use of our website. Each time one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, is accessed, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical process, Google receives knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently enable commission settlements.
The cookie is used to store personal information, such as the access time, the location from which access was made and the frequency of visits to our website by the data subject. Whenever our website is visited, this personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies through our website, as already shown above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
The data subject also has the option of objecting to and preventing the collection of data generated by Google Analytics relating to the use of this website and the processing of this data by Google. To do this, the data subject must download and install a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information about visits to websites may be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-on is considered an objection by Google. If the information technology system of the data subject is deleted, formatted or reinstalled at a later date, the data subject must reinstall the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated by the data subject or another person within their sphere of control, it is possible to reinstall or reactivate the browser add-on.
Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.

10. Data protection provisions on the application and use of Google Remarketing
The controller has integrated Google Remarketing services on this website. Google Remarketing is a function of Google AdWords that enables a company to display advertisements to Internet users who have previously visited the company's website. The integration of Google Remarketing therefore allows a company to create user-related advertising and thus display advertisements relevant to the Internet user's interests.
The operating company of the Google Remarketing services is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
The purpose of Google Remarketing is to display interest-relevant advertising. Google Remarketing enables us to display advertisements via the Google advertising network or on other websites that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of Internet users.
Google Remarketing sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google is able to recognize the visitor to our website when he or she subsequently visits websites that are also members of the Google advertising network. Whenever a website is accessed on which the Google Remarketing service has been integrated, the Internet browser of the person concerned automatically identifies itself with Google. As part of this technical process, Google receives knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address or the surfing behavior of the user, which Google uses, among other things, to display interest-relevant advertising.
The cookie is used to store personal information, such as the websites visited by the person concerned. Whenever our website is visited, personal data, including the IP address of the Internet connection used by the person concerned, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies through our website, as already described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
The data subject also has the option of objecting to interest-based advertising by Google. To do so, the data subject must call up the link www.google.de/settings/ads from each of the Internet browsers they use and make the desired settings there.
Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

11. Data protection provisions on the application and use of Google+
The controller has integrated the Google+ button as a component on this website. Google+ is a so-called social network. A social network is a social meeting place operated on the Internet, an online community that generally enables users to communicate with each other and interact in virtual space. A social network can serve as a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences or enables the Internet community to provide personal or company-related information. Google+ enables users of the social network to create private profiles, upload photos and network via friend requests, among other things.
The operating company of Google+ is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
Each time one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Google+ button has been integrated, is accessed, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Google+ button to download a representation of the corresponding Google+ button from Google. As part of this technical process, Google receives information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject. More detailed information about Google+ is available at https://developers.google.com/+/.
If the data subject is logged in to Google+ at the same time, Google recognizes which specific subpage of our website the data subject visits each time the data subject accesses our website and for the entire duration of their stay on our website. This information is collected by the Google+ button and assigned by Google to the respective Google+ account of the data subject.
If the data subject clicks on one of the Google+ buttons integrated on our website and thereby makes a Google+1 recommendation, Google assigns this information to the personal Google+ user account of the data subject and stores this personal data. Google stores the Google+1 recommendation of the data subject and makes it publicly available in accordance with the terms and conditions accepted by the data subject in this regard. A Google+1 recommendation made by the data subject on this website is subsequently stored and processed together with other personal data, such as the name of the Google+1 account used by the data subject and the photo stored in this account, in other Google services, such as the search engine results of the Google search engine, the Google account of the data subject or elsewhere, for example on websites or in connection with advertisements. Furthermore, Google is able to link the visit to this website with other personal data stored by Google. Google also records this personal information for the purpose of improving or optimizing the various Google services.
Google always receives information via the Google+ button that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged in to Google+ at the time of accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the person concerned clicks on the Google+ button or not.
If the person concerned does not want personal data to be transmitted to Google, he or she can prevent this by logging out of his or her Google+ account before accessing our website.

12. Data protection provisions on the application and use of Google AdWords
The controller has integrated Google AdWords on this website. Google AdWords is an Internet advertising service that allows advertisers to place ads in Google's search engine results as well as in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords enables an advertiser to pre-define certain keywords by means of which an ad is only displayed in Google's search engine results when the user retrieves a keyword-relevant search result using the search engine. In the Google advertising network, the ads are distributed on topic-relevant websites using an automatic algorithm and taking into account the previously defined keywords.
The operating company of the Google AdWords services is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by displaying interest-relevant advertising on the websites of third-party companies and in the search engine results of the Google search engine and by displaying third-party advertising on our website.
If a data subject reaches our website via a Google ad, a so-called conversion cookie is stored on the information technology system of the data subject by Google. What cookies are has already been explained above. A conversion cookie expires after thirty days and is not used to identify the data subject. The conversion cookie is used, provided the cookie has not yet expired, to track whether certain subpages, such as the shopping cart of an online shop system, were accessed on our website. The conversion cookie enables both us and Google to track whether a data subject who reached our website via an AdWords ad generated sales, i.e. completed or canceled a purchase of goods.
The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie are used by Google to create visit statistics for our website. We in turn use these visit statistics to determine the total number of users who were referred to us via AdWords ads, i.e. to determine the success or failure of the respective AdWords ad and to optimize our AdWords ads for the future. Neither our company nor other Google AdWords advertisers receive information from Google that could be used to identify the data subject.
The conversion cookie is used to store personal information, such as the websites visited by the data subject. Each time our website is visited, personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America.
Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a conversion cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, a cookie already set by Google AdWords can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.

Jetpack places a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. Cookies have already been explained above. Each time one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Jetpack component has been integrated, is accessed, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Jetpack component to transmit data to Automattic for analysis purposes. As part of this technical process, Automattic receives data that is subsequently used to create an overview of website visits. The data obtained in this way is used to analyze the behavior of the data subject who has accessed the controller's website and is evaluated with the aim of optimizing the website. The data collected via the Jetpack component is not used to identify the data subject without first obtaining a separate, express consent from the data subject. The data is also made known to Quantcast. Quantcast uses the data for the same purposes as Automattic.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies through our website, as already shown above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the Internet browser used would also prevent Automattic/Quantcast from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by Automattic can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
The data subject also has the option of objecting to and preventing the collection of data generated by the Jetpack cookie relating to the use of this website and the processing of this data by Automattic/Quantcast. To do so, the data subject must press the opt-out button under the link https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/, which sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on the information technology system used by the data subject. If the cookies on the data subject's system are deleted after an objection, the data subject must call up the link again and set a new opt-out cookie.

19. Legal basis for processing
Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis for our company for processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the delivery of goods or the provision of any other service or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b GDPR. The same applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of inquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, such as to fulfill tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured in our company and his name, age, health insurance data or other vital information had to be passed on to a doctor, hospital or other third party. In that case, the processing would be based on Art. 6 I lit. d GDPR.

Then the processing would be based on Art. 6 I lit. d GDPR. Ultimately, processing operations could be based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. This legal basis is used for processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases if the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they were specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, it took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47 Sentence 2 GDPR).
20. Legitimate interests in the processing pursued by the controller or a third party
If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6 I lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and our shareholders.
21. Duration for which the personal data is stored
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After the period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted unless it is no longer required to fulfill or initiate a contract.
22. Legal or contractual provisions for the provision of personal data; necessity for the conclusion of the contract; obligation of the data subject to provide the personal data; possible consequences of non-provision
We would like to inform you that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or can also result from contractual regulations (e.g. information on the contractual partner). In order to conclude a contract, it may sometimes be necessary for a data subject to provide us with personal data, which must then be processed by us. For example, the data subject is obliged to provide us with personal data if our company concludes a contract with them. Failure to provide the personal data would mean that the contract with the data subject could not be concluded. Before the data subject provides personal data, the data subject must contact one of our employees. Our employee will clarify to the data subject on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of the personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data and what consequences non-provision of the personal data would have.
